Above is pictured the very building that supplies the world with it's beloved Starbucks coffee makers. Thermaplan. Strange that it is hidden in Switzerland, where most people enjoy their caffeine fixes the Italian way, as you can see from my top photo. However, there are several Starbucks popping up in Zurich, where I heard they were first shunned, but now they are becoming quite trendy. Students like to hang there after school, and professionals use them for business appointments. Maybe it's to practice their English, which you'd have to know to read the menu...but beware, if you order a tall black coffee, you will get an Americano, a double shot of espresso, or a puzzled expression. Oh, the Swiss. They do love dairy.
